From 7 to 12 years old — Kids
Why and what for
Our main goal when teaching children is to maintain sincere interest for knowledge, involvement in learning process, nurture self-confidence, need in self-development, independence of thought, responsibility for the result of their work – whether it’s homework or results of annual final exams.
English as a tool, not as a goal
English language is taught in our centre during a process of natural learning. That happens unnoticed. Throught facinating lessons a child studies planets, builds a model of Solar system, talks to his peers and participates in play rehearsals. Kids live throughout different situations in English and get used to speak in that language
Skills you won't learn in school
Our pupils acquire skills, that are not represented in russian schools: self-presentation, independent research, dealing with sources of information, critical analysis. Several times a year our centre holds extracurricular activities, during which kids learn how to work in group, conduct research studies and present results of their work to parents and teachers.
British school programme
The teaching programme takes into account the requirements of the National Curriculum of England and Wales, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Our students are really close to level of their british peers. All teaching is conducted in English.
Teachers - professionals in their field
Most of our teachers are not pedagogues but professionals in differenst areas: mathematics, economy, chemistry, science. Teaching for them is an opportunity to share their experience and knowledge
Groups and teachers
Education classes for pupils take place in groups D (ages 6-9) and E (ages 10-12).
